Losing sleep

You tormented me
Made it hard to sleep
Hurt me in ways no one would even think
Kept my son from me
Kidnapped him
Whats a mother to feel
The pain you caused was surreal
Wake up at night clutching his pillow
Grasping for air
Reaching out for him to nothing but air
This pain though it was a year ago now
Still remains
You have moved on a new family
Dont come around for the kids at all
But the fear is always there
I wake up at night look over in my sons bed to be sure he is there
How can you still have this power over me
I feel so weak.
Your not even around anymore
Yet im still losing sleep.
