Ya know...I read that...thought I knew what it was saying...then read it again and realized it had even more to say. The way you worded this and divided line from line was brilliant. Anything that makes me come back and read again to find an alternate or fuller meaning is much loved by me.
am glad, an understatement ...it conveyed some meaning.
sometimes as they say less is more... and most importantly i have come to this firm conclusion... a poem/work is not for the inker's to decide/interpet. for every reader brings in with him/her their own torch their own spectrum which reflects to them the colors/light/images from the point in time and place they're standing at... in that regard...i am much more than just honored and glad...the words are not in vain.
What you have said here is but one gift you have showered us with, (especially for me). Though perhaps the thought is not original, it is the reminding of it that helps keep us all true to the craft and ourselves.
