Hmm?
Hmm?
What would I say?
What would he say?
Anxious? Yes,
But really, more curious than anything, is what I'm trying to express,
Just a slight worry as I tried to make a good first impression,
Not a hyperventilating session.
Curious as to what would be his reaction,
To the conversation,
Of a seemingly twelve...er...nine year old?
Hmm?
Is this what you wanted to say, really?
To dissipate my worry of making a fool of myself is silly,
When my worry was making him afraid he frightened me, really,
Though my anxiety was greater than anything I have yet to feel,
It did not stop me from living a life real,
And I must also point out,
This is something not allowed,
Saying to stop worrying, is easier said than done,
Quit, before you anger the wrong someone.
Hmm?
You've never been in a situation like this have you?
You believe just a repetitive, positive, cliché statement from a stranger is enough to solve the problem, don't you?
To say to just stop worrying, is never the right thing to say,
If you've never been in the situation, stay away,
From lines like those,
Or you may end up with more woes!
