I know someone
who likes to be snowed in
She doesn't like the snow
it's the in part
she adores
She knows
when the snow's piled high
up against the door
her man's going nowhere
so she gets to keep an eye on him
all the time
She says it's cozy
and we can snuggle up more
but I wonder
if that's what's really
happening here
She would never admit it
and she should ask herself
why it's like that
but I think the real reason
is she doesn't trust me anymore
And if that is the case
then can anyone explain
how you can love a person
you learned not to trust
who likes to be snowed in
