I agree that both has faith at the core, but I also know that God has away of letting something happen that cannot be explained away but is truly real in appearance.  I've been though so real situations, that could not be explained but only by GOD's mercy & grace I'm not sleeping.

there is no,"but", however...whatever God chooses to do or not do...will not change the original statement.
Your belief holds that God made rules for you...break them at your own peril.

My rules are dictated by logic, reason, and a belief in the finer points of humanism.

Whatever is believe, is logically each truly believe is true. It's the nature of humans. I believe what has been logically for me. The betterment of life for all, through love & compassion.

I never thought about it that way before. Very good point! I find it ironic that even those who claim to not believe in a deity still say "Oh my god!" whenever shocked, ticked off or angry.
