Today,
he started the day.
Period... Just started the day...
No plans, no chores...
No goals, or projects...
No feelings, no thoughts
on future, present, or past...
No ambition whatsoever...
Clean, empty and pure...
Stands by the window;
he, inside; beyond it, outside...
Same difference...
Presence within the "I"
existence without it...
Motionless...
Today,
the day proceeds
and he shuts the blinds...

There’s something to be said for just living. I guess it takes many forms. Took me on a little inward journey this one. Emotional response — that’s why it was reading listed.

For me, this takes on an air of Buddhism and existentialism which both focuses on our internal world and questions the assumptions made about that existence and what is valued. Excellent write.
