Sister
I know that I cannot save you
but that doesn't mean I won't try
I know you would save me too
and for that you cannot lie
You tell me that you are worthless
but you are worth everything to me
The pain you go through make me nervous
How can I make you look and see?
I look up to you like a child
because you have been my leader all along
I was happy every time you smiled
because when you were happy I belonged
When we were together I never got scared
I knew you would protect me if all else failed
With you I was okay because I always knew you cared
and you were always there to save me everytime I wailed
Is there any way for me to show you
That I still need you every day?
How can you know that I am the only one who
never knows what to say?
You can always tell me what is on your mind
though I don't quite know how to help
the best thing I can do is find
A way for you to save yourself
You know I am right here to listen
to your every word and thought
the answers you are trying to find are within
yourself waiting to be caught
I just want you to know that you are perfect
if you never remember a word I say
I want you to know that you are worth it
in each and every way
I wouldn't be me without you
because you have made me who I am
You'll be the one to help me through
and help me remember how to stand.

but you are stronger than you know
Never let the world make you boy
nd never be afraid to let the scars show.
This may have been a lost battle
but you are sure to win the war
This game will shake you like a rattle
but you won't let it take the score
You will get better at it with time
as the slow burn becomes a sting
It's finally over when you win the climb
of getting over everything
And when your pain is finally gone
I'll still be right here for you

Reading this makes me wish my sister and I had a bond Lille that. Only thing she ever did was take and never give anything back. I really hope that your sister will pull through whatever war she has. Best wishes to you and your sister.
