it was a lie
" Trust me." you say.
" i wont hurt you."
But it was all a lie.
your hands tighten around me.
they claw at my back.
when i struggle you get mad,
you slam my against the wall.
i bite at your hands when,
you try and touch my face.
you hit me hard in the side.
you grab me by the hair.
i close my eyes.
i feel the sting of glass,
the warmth of my blood,
against the cold night.
with nothing on but a mans shirt.
Your Shirt! i wrench it off and through it on the ground.
naked and freezing i find my way back inside.
ive learned not to cry.
you promised not to hurt me.
but it was a lie!
" i wont hurt you."
But it was all a lie.
your hands tighten around me.
they claw at my back.
when i struggle you get mad,
you slam my against the wall.
