We're hungry (finished version)

Stolen styles
 forced smiles
for miles and miles is all I see
though I know this is me too,
I never thought it would be.

No more originality
just poorly replicated relics
which are basically inimitable
and infinitely irreplaceable..
we intimately embrace the pull,  mesmerized minds magnetized to a momentary vibe
the instant it's felt/heard..
a vibe so vibrant and inviting,
we'd be delighted to dwell in this
divine demonstration,
no hesitation
we're hungry for something sacred
something so effortlessly expressed
the effect on eternity
 never second guessed,
the intensity puts us to the test...
   how long can you last?
    the feeling fades fast
     but doesn't die discreetly
      and never passes completely..
       can't let it deplete me
        as I dissolve repeatedly into
         some spacious scenery,
          gloriously glowing greenery
guiding me always away from the noise
         away from the nonsense
        and needless negativity plaguing
          recent centuries for no purpose
       the secret never to surface
        ultimately unknown..

I crawl into the comfort of
 clever creations, casting away
all the cares and fears of standing out, hiding a side of oneself only known to you.

So many just blend in
(Me included)
and give in to the given guidelines,
relying on the routines,
 sticking to the structure,
stuck in styles
smug smiles
 deep in denial
the spirit defiled
the wildness wasted and tainted with torturous techniques and overused ideas eliminating any pure expression
of self and personal power no matter ones skill level it's simply not the same
and enough to drive one insane
let us claim our name
we can't be tamed
we know our soul's inflamed
aching for adventure,
to venture out past the void
the absurdity you can't avoid..
Thou shall never be the same
all part of the
awakening game.
