Smiling as I look around
Kayaking on a lake
Water dripping down the paddle
Finding a good spot
Putting the worm on the hook
Casting the line
Waiting
And
Waiting
A swift tug and reeling in
Seeing the fish
A Pumpkinseed
Holding onto its slimy scales
Taking the hook out
Watching it swim away
Hours of kayaking and fishing
Pure happiness
Driving
Finding a Berry Farm
Getting excited
Greeted by a warm smile and point in the right direction
Filling up a bucket of blueberries
Eating a few as well
Weighing and paying
Eating more on the ride home
Home to my dog
He is so happy to see me
Getting changed and putting up my hair
Going for a run
Dirt road
Heart racing
Lungs yearning for air
Back home again
Collapsing on the couch
Feeling tired
But amazing

Was a good day
