Death is Calling

I dove in...,
At first how peaceful it seemed,
Calmness of the water, blue, cloudy, sun kissed skys reflecting back at me,
I can't breathe...,
Struggling to get back up,
Pulling, pushing, shit! I can't get out,
My head feels like it's about to explode, my heart feeling ever so still, the darkness closing in,
Water intake is too much, my heart's about to stop...

A light..., go closer to the light,
Fight!, I'm trying but I don't have the strength, the might,
A shadow, the image of a face,
A face?, yes! A face,
The feel of hands holding on to me,
Pulling me out of the sea...
Whispering, “I won't let u drown, i wont let the darkness drag u down”...
