A photo
I got a photo the other day
It was shadowed and not so light
It is still beautiful: I must say
Finding myself holding it at night
I have seen a thousand of them
In the mail, on t.v. or even in a book
Nothing could prepare me for this gem
A glance at first; I needed a second look
This photo might not be much to some
Burning this image into my mind
Stairing up at me; wanting to be free
GOD was there that day to make this kind
Only to imagine everything I've seen in books
To heal: to mend, everything that this can do
Not only does it have words: it also has looks
Their is nothing more beautiful than just a picture of you
It was shadowed and not so light
It is still beautiful: I must say
Finding myself holding it at night
I have seen a thousand of them
In the mail, on t.v. or even in a book
Nothing could prepare me for this gem
A glance at first; I needed a second look
This photo might not be much to some
Burning this image into my mind
Stairing up at me; wanting to be free
GOD was there that day to make this kind
Only to imagine everything I've seen in books
To heal: to mend, everything that this can do
Not only does it have words: it also has looks
Their is nothing more beautiful than just a picture of you
