Goodbye Love
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”
Never has a lie
Seemed so true
Said so many times
In so many ways
But words cannot help
As the relationship frays
I’ve tried to save this
I don’t want it to end
But my spirit will break
If I continue to bend
I don’t want to hurt you
I don’t want you to cry
But I need you to know
That I really did try
Hopefully someday
We’ll regain what we lost
I hope our friendship
Isn’t part of the cost
As I prepare to do this
There is fear in my heart
Because I know that my actions
Will tear you apart

so many relations sometimes go sour - and you have trouble saying it to them - I bet it would hurt even more in a poem - whew - very deep - nice write though for it shows deep feelings - ^v^

I know it will be one of the hardest things you've ever done. But it's the right thing. I love you so much.
