Wandering Goodbye
Sometimes love's just not enough
You can keep trying and cryin', flying and dyin'
But love's just not enough.....in love
When you're tearing up and sobing inside,
But trying to swallow every little sound
I wanna drown my soul
I wanna let you go,
But i can't face my demons
Without your hope.
And you didn't even know how to love,
I tried to teach you but i wasn't enough,
There's other people who you can't trust,
And i couldn't kill them before you gave up
Biting into the memories,
Suffocating in old dreams.
The dead that i heard now never speaks
Silence is the noise i don't wanna hear
I wanted you to be the one who fulfilled
Screamed so hard my every part could only bleed.
But you are the one who didn't fear to leave,
I was the one that had his love above his fear
And now we only talk through hopes
Never see, never hear, behind closed doors
Excuses made an escaping floor
Where only our shadows live, nothing more.
You can keep trying and cryin', flying and dyin'
But love's just not enough.....in love
When you're tearing up and sobing inside,
But trying to swallow every little sound
I wanna drown my soul
I wanna let you go,
But i can't face my demons
Without your hope.
And you didn't even know how to love,
I tried to teach you but i wasn't enough,
There's other people who you can't trust,
And i couldn't kill them before you gave up
Biting into the memories,
Suffocating in old dreams.
The dead that i heard now never speaks
Silence is the noise i don't wanna hear
I wanted you to be the one who fulfilled
Screamed so hard my every part could only bleed.
But you are the one who didn't fear to leave,
I was the one that had his love above his fear
And now we only talk through hopes
Never see, never hear, behind closed doors
Excuses made an escaping floor
Where only our shadows live, nothing more.
