Talk to me
You told me you were ashamed of your pain
and didn't want to share or complain
because of how you were acutely aware that
you'd be another burden on my brain.
Let me be clear, if you are hurting as much as
I fear, I only wish to help you maintain.
Death is near us all and I would rather fall now
then play deaf to one I love as she
desperately calls out for help in the realm of the vane.
A sister to me, you've dragged me through
mud and out flames.
Spill your guts as you please, I came to appease
and help you squeeze out demons
that need to be tamed.
You've helped me out in the greatest of ways
and I aim to do the same.
A blessing to me,
the moon, the sun and it's rays,
I grow warm, as you playfully blaze.
Seek my comfort any time, the least I can do.
You've saved me from dying,
a million times blue, you never stop trying
to cheer me up, I owe my life to you.
Sip from my cup, enjoy my food.
Forever in debt, in my heart and soul
through and through, you always pull through.
I'm sad that you walk in my shoes
but you've taught me just what to do
and I'm honored to be the one so
don't hold back an ounce.
Relax, sit back and lets chat on the couch,
if it takes a lifetime, we’ll figure this out,
of this I have no doubt.
