bad decisions
i stare out my window into the rain
i have nothing to do and i'm feeling the pain
i've lost count of how many days have past
i'm sitting here wondering which will be my last
death is so certain and life is such a mystery
because of bad decisions now you are history
i'm having great trouble coping with your death
the pain is getting worse with each and every breath
you should have called me to drive you home
instead of getting drunk and driving all alone
now i wonder if you were thinking of me
was i your last thought or was it the tree
if you had made the better choice you would've found
that you would be here with me instead of decomposing in the ground
i have nothing to do and i'm feeling the pain
i've lost count of how many days have past
i'm sitting here wondering which will be my last
death is so certain and life is such a mystery
because of bad decisions now you are history
i'm having great trouble coping with your death
the pain is getting worse with each and every breath
you should have called me to drive you home
instead of getting drunk and driving all alone
now i wonder if you were thinking of me
was i your last thought or was it the tree
if you had made the better choice you would've found
that you would be here with me instead of decomposing in the ground
