Time between awakening and asleep
If captured I can keep
Some of the messages from the deep
That I received in my sleep

God, whisper in my ear
The secrets that I should hear
When dawn breaks and light is near
Keep my visions clear

For in the hours between dark and light
Under the pale moonlight
My journey between wrong and right
The gap closes between heaven and earth tonight

Reconnect me, my God - my Source
My faith is reinforced
And I do so without remorse
