Saved

I know Christ Jesus
Saved my soul,
For on the cross
He made me whole.

He took deep stripes
Upon His back,
That nothing I
Would ever lack.

I reached up
And could not contain,
The Blood that flowed
In Jesus name.

The tears were falling
Down my cheek;
I could not talk,
I could not speak.

I only could
Bow down in love,
Because I knew
He’d reign above.

Christ brought salvation
To the earth,
And paid the price
For our new birth.

And now I’ll live
Forever more,
Beyond the gates,
Within the door.
