The Bit Of Crumpet, That Went To Far

the perils of late night snacks! led to me writing this poem when i woke up today!
The Bit Of Crumpet, That Went To Far!

Last night, i fell asleep in my chair
Woke up, with Marmited Crumpet, stuck to my hair!
I at first put it down, to living in the South
But surely that's no reason, for missing my mouth?
So i went to the bathroom, to wash out the mess
Removing the 'slick' now attached to my tress
It was sticky, and gooey, but had tasted alright
But next time i'll try, not to use it at night
Has this put me off crumpet, in this messy affair?
Of course not! as long as it's not, stuck to my hair!
