Memory Fades
So far we have trekked. Our footprints left as time capsules in the sand. What is our story? The deeper our footprints, the closer the soles of our feet touch the water table. In the desert our story is windswept into the air. On the shores our story is drowned and carried into and lost in the abyss of the sea. Together we wrote a story, walked through page after page. Each page has been a sheet of ice that we have tumbled over and over writing. Let it be our last testament to this world. A world of eroding footprints, lost stories. Ours shall be dripping in light. Deep and rich in beauty.
