VAIN IN IMPERFECTION
So, today I heard that you hated me
But it’s okay because it’s all I ever see
You fear what you do not understand
That’s landed me on the list of the damned
What I’ve said before cannot be made any clearer
As the night grows nearer I’m there when your dreaming
And when you wake screaming, lo, the monster in the mirror
And so today I heard that you love me
But it’s okay because it’s all I ever see
Kiss me a bomb and dip it in blood
And together we will send it to God
Vain in imperfection
Am I good enough for something like you
Staining the perfection
I can never be bad enough for the likes of you
Drink from the tarnished chalice
Add a M to your Alice
And make you a Malice
In wonderland we revel
Put a D on my Evil
And make me your Devil
So, today I heard that you despise me
But that’s okay because it’s all I ever see
Cut away the cancer that I am
And then put me on the list of the damned
What’s been said before has never been more truer
Because all the rumors are prime for a killing
There’s nothing more thrilling than to feast in the sewer
And so today I heart that you want me
But that’s okay because it’s all I ever see
Fuck me a bomb and paint it with blood
And together we will send it to God
