Image for the poem Happy Mothers Day Momma

Happy Mothers Day Momma

When I had hair
she was there.
A picture frozen in time
The memory burnt in my mind
When I was three
I sucked my thumb,
You cradled me
you loved your son
I played with your hair
gazed in your eyes,
A bond made in heaven
That will never demise.
