Lost Love
As the shadows gather, my soul dies
I watched you slip away.
As I kneel in the darkness,
moonlight surrounding me, your
Cold, uncaring eyes watch my pain.
You watch as my heart breaks,
Never to be whole again.
My love for you, never dying,
My soul torn.
Your love, once like Heaven,
is now Hell.
I cry your name,
watching you walk away,
my tears dripping down.
You glanced back, once,
your eyes saying nothing.
I know, now, that I mean nothing to you.
Then I awoke,
from my dangerous sleep,
to find you gone, a note
In your place.
I watched you slip away.
As I kneel in the darkness,
moonlight surrounding me, your
Cold, uncaring eyes watch my pain.
You watch as my heart breaks,
Never to be whole again.
My love for you, never dying,
My soul torn.
Your love, once like Heaven,
is now Hell.
I cry your name,
watching you walk away,
my tears dripping down.
You glanced back, once,
your eyes saying nothing.
I know, now, that I mean nothing to you.
Then I awoke,
from my dangerous sleep,
to find you gone, a note
In your place.
