What Practice Will Do

Since practicing builds confidence,
I’m here to speak with pen perverse.
The more you love, spare no expense,
In strictest rhyme or freeform verse.

What makes a lover strong to stay,
Since practicing builds confidence?
With pen’s eject, both night and day,
Your words will flow in lustful tense.

Let go, don’t straddle any fence,
Each conquest counts, don’t be a saint.
Since practicing builds confidence,
From reputation, readers faint.

A poet builds on words of brawn,
I’m here to help you forward hence.
Don’t let me keep you, carry on,
