Suspiring
Suspiring
(Eighteen of 30 -- Official DUP NaPo/GloPoWrimo 2019)
I often wish I could catch clouds
fly them to magickal lands
Take naps amidst the fluffy ones
breathing in the cirrus strands
I’d leave all the gossips behind
maybe visit places where I
once played when I was small
empty schoolyards and sandy
beaches and inlet waterfalls
Catching a gentle breeze
I’d travel to where winds lead
I realize leaving the past
my comfort zone
sliding into uncertainties
of lots of tomorrows
still holds for me
zeal of the unknown
Where will these clouds take me?
What Beautiful surprises lie
Ahead?
I often wish
I could catch clouds. . .

This is beautiful Tallen. The sight of clouds is fascinating especially when you are travelling by air. I have the same wish to catch the clouds with my hands :-)

If the surrounding airs feel "just right"
i could waste away an entire day
dreaming of and with the clouds
thank You for the wonderful share

You're welcome :-)
I have many pictures of clouds I captured while travelling over the years. It is an endless fascination for me. A seat by the window is my favorite spot. I don't want to miss the sight of clouds rolling.

Somehow, Tallen, I get the impression you could write children's books that parents would love to read to their children.

Hmmm, writing kids books -- now there's a thought
(& i could illustrate, as well - i draw too)
I love telling stories to kids
and being animated and getting them to interact and be a part of the story.
I know a few kids' tales by heart -- more fun than reading from the book in front of the kids

If you can illustrate your own books, that's a serious advantage point on the spring-board.
A couple of weeks' back I was telling an animated version of Jack & The Beanstalk to 8-9 year old Portuguese school-kids learning English - nicely interactive.

I did my certified Preschool internship at a college Child Development ctr and have participated in lots of storytelling.
I'd love to see an animated version of Jack & the Beanstalk! I suppose no one video-taped, eh?

Re: Re. Suspiring
No video-tape - but just me getting them to join in with 'Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum, I smell the blood of an Englishman" and gesticulating a lot.
Story-telling is a great and powerful and necessary medium - especially in these techno-days - helping people re-connect with lost parts of their inner worlds.

I think the thing I love most about clouds is there absolute unattainability. Nobody can own or capture a cloud. They just go as the wind blows. To be able to ride on one...man, what a trip. Beautiful imagery here :-)

to choose from and even clouds if You like rain (like me) and clouds at night!
I think i love watching them under a full moon as much if not more than under a full sun.
appreciate the share and wonderful comments
