Hi Pi...pleased to meet you...always happy to cross paths with another Haiku junkie...
I seem to favor the Senryu fairly often as I indulge in opinion and philosophical wordplay... can't resist...and I too love Tanka... to hell with traditional form... can't do it in English anyway...so I stick with form and shape and the spirit of the thing, and let poetic freedom ring.
