The Passing of Winter
The wintered sun departs my heart
Over vermillion leaves left scattered there
A gift for thee longing for dispair
Snowy bluffs to end the start
Of darkness asunder under dewy eyes maintained
For spoils long plundered and death be refrained
Colder stares long granted there
The promise of spring whispered upon the breeze
Frozen in the eyes of horizons long dawned
Bewitching the secrets of the skies far above
Entwined with the darkness I've held for your love
A pitying of doves stained red in your name
A scoundral of shadow
To creep in Death's feilds
Pallid with frailty a kiss to dismiss
The mourning of storms uttered from her cold lips
Over vermillion leaves left scattered there
A gift for thee longing for dispair
Snowy bluffs to end the start
Of darkness asunder under dewy eyes maintained
For spoils long plundered and death be refrained
Colder stares long granted there
The promise of spring whispered upon the breeze
Frozen in the eyes of horizons long dawned
Bewitching the secrets of the skies far above
Entwined with the darkness I've held for your love
A pitying of doves stained red in your name
A scoundral of shadow
To creep in Death's feilds
Pallid with frailty a kiss to dismiss
The mourning of storms uttered from her cold lips
