Halloa

The cold seeps in, and chills my bones
the grey skies depressions cloud my dawns
the forcast of oncoming storms
an escape to sumny shores

To where they sway like snakes possesed
and herald with a garland you bedecked
native beauties with bare breasts
the Hauwaii welcome thats the best

For honeyed holiday that you expect
that haven with no limit cocktail hour treats
advertising hype thats hopefull,  smiles beamed aspect
no hoar to chill in this, ideal retreat

That volcano is it dead
to awake from centuries of sleep
what are those long odds, a betting hedge
and spew its ash on horticulture in the fields

Bring lava down the slopes into the streets
that paradise we made is self contrived
self habitual deciet of summers heat
for honours dreams under grey and rainy skies

Grass skirts that twist and writhe
eruptions hollow menace reeks a burning sythe
a dance to repeat time after time
the H bomb ticking mountainside
