rumrunners cave

stone skull, eyes ablaze
lighting up the cavern wall
warns trespassers of danger ahead
as they slip through the narrow hall

crumbled floor, unstable roof
tread carefully, lest you fall
holes expose the drop below
do you hear adventure's call?

hidden tunnels underfoot
echo out your name
the ocean waves crash ashore
inviting you to their game

explore every corridor
climb every eroded stair
the tide is rising, time is short
hurry back out to the salty air

sandy feet travel rocky paths
that seem to lead nowhere
but there's history and secrets
to discover if you dare
