How come I ain't got a room
like that ?
Most other people have

One where my mind would
take me when I get too emotional
in thoughts
So as I might be then able to disassociate & disconnect from what
I understand to be not quite ok
Before they go and dash my hopes
by putting up 'in a relationship'
Then leaving me again bereft for no
actual logical reason for being sad

I fall in love too easily.

Everyone could be the one
even when I had the one
Then don't understand when
dreams get dashed

Then there be you
As dependable as oxygen

It's like your the part of me
that's missing

And sure
I push you back further than
necessary in never letting you in
Yet I'm all for being let down
by other unaware suitors
It's like I need to feel let down

I'm here with a faulty love button
& no room to take it for repair

But then there's you
Mr oxygen
What would I do without you.
