Love is gentle, love is kind
Love is quiet, love is divine
Love doesn't question or reason
For the answers lay deep inside

Love permeates through every flower
The trees, within all that grows
It moves the stream towards the ocean
Thus touches upon all as it flows

Love is silent, it simply is
Love does not puff itself up
Love doesn't plead to be noticed
No quantity can ever define love

When two people fall in love
No words can truly embrace
That feeling of longing to forever be
Together as one for all their days

Being in love is so intoxicating
It disorients and overwhelms the mind
Life becomes a dreamy haze
As two hearts are perfectly aligned

A mother looks upon her child
As the infant takes its first cry
Her love and compassionate heart
Tis the source of the most divine

Love is the energy that bonds
Love cannot separate or lie
Love cannot be something its not
No matter how hard we try

It is written that love can hurt
The pain of love drives one insane
