Fait Accompli
He lingers near the fireplace as I draw
My dress off in the heat, hearing him sigh;
Before he takes his leave, he might want more:
Soothed by my half-undress, would he deny
My efforts to detain him? Each false start
Gives me new hope: my shy sincerity
Revealed by loss of garments; if lips part
To taste his naked kisses and to see,.
If tested, mettle could grow stiff (the balm
Of my soft hand); and is he so distracted,
Once detained, that I can easily charm
His well stoked cock, leading towards my bed?
Will love be complemented by his need,
As lust lingers to a fait accompli 'd?
