Sit like couch potatoes in an asylum    
For retired Tokers from a Bavaria      
Where the forest is black as night    
     
Bearded man pops VHS into player    
Camcorder scene turns into lava lamp    
With molten corpuscles in lotus land    
Suddenly bullet is extracted from head    
Of my parents friend from yesteryear    
When Mom sat with him in charity hospital    
While nurses paraded for vital checking    
In fashionably form-fitting revelations    
But sensible for the ICU    
As not to send the bypass men into cardiac arrest    
With the lead fresh from our friend’s cranium    
From a drug deal gone wrong    
And the video ends like a madhouse opera    
With hallucinatory rhetoric      
of a bughouse preacher
