Silence.
If every thought you keep is a secret
Then I am the guilty shadowed secret keeper
Have you noticed the quaintly silence?
That’s because time has quit it’s heavy breathing
I for one won’t miss the sickening tick
That reveals tragic misery and false led trickery
Which we for some reason deceitfully call love and adoration
The funny thing is you never even knew
Never asked, saw or even simply noticed
That darkness clings and corrupts the construction of my naïve soul
Without you there I gave myself over
Don’t be surprised to find me not open
You lost the right to ask that of me
Now let us turn away and bleed the day
I wish I never glimpsed of it that day when I did stray
Which led me to stop the clock’s fatal hand
Me who shall take this ungracious fall to hell.
