My decaying love
Everyone knows what you’re doing
You know
I know
We all know
It’s nothing to be proud of
Nothing to forlorn
You can’t take it back now
It’s going to haunt your forever
Until one day
When you wake up and have a sudden recognition of how you’re hurting yourself
And the people around you
When will you finally get it through your head that this is not who you really are
I know who you are
And this dissipated person that you come off as
Is not you
Just last year you were the most alluring woman I’ve ever seen
Now when I see you, I have trouble distinguishing who you are
Your face, sunken in, pale, with deep craters covering your once beautiful skin
Your hair, brittle and undone
Your teeth, rotting and horrid
I find it astonishing how fast you went from absolutely stunning, to homely all because of this one magical substance
How such a little thing can have such a big impact on ones life
