star return
It’s a shooting star or a comet
The one I’m looking from the socket,
Down the scope on to a screen
I watch the tail burning pristine,
Lighting up all of the sky
Passing fast waving goodbye,
It’s a rare special event
Such a sign so much potent,
It wouldn’t stay lighting the night
With its gases shining bright,
But its promise to return
Keeps the world longing in yearn.
