Sometimes pleasing her isnt enough

she came in like the wind
no need to aspire
the darkness had followed
but I only saw fire

her crimson had bled
from the seas aching call
not known where or to whom
tomorrow's would fall

storm after storm
the battles did brew
but I only saw light
in all that you do

my achors have dropped
I swam in your trust
basked in a thought
promised as much

echos resound
a much heeded note
passion set sail
on these waters we float
