Rodent
I invade the space and paced my impatient mind.
I retraced my steps in attempts to recollect my state of mind.
Honestly, I've been here for quite some time.
I've counted every grain that's contained within the sands of time.
I tried to climb the mountain of my ego, but I fell to the ground of my IQ, Everytime.
I try to find a rhyme for every word in every line.
I know I don't need to,
But just like everyone else.
I just love to waste my time,
Just as much as I love to waste my breath.
So don't expect to catch me hold it.
I tried to be my own rock, but I am eroded.
Red roses to my mother for raising her rodent.
The one in the house she hoped nobody would notice.
She stomps her feet to ward away the threat that never actually poses.
I just wanted to read the words that leaves my mind corroded.
That is me,
The rodent.
And dispodent nomad.
A forgotten poet.
