My name is Emily and I'd like to consider myself a writer. I've been writing for the majority of my life, with the exception of the last few years. I can honestly say that I lost myself for a little while. However, nothing is ever lost for good, so here I am.
I have a lust for life, the beauty, the unbearable. Writing is something that helps me to express this as I am sure it does for so many others.
I find inspiration in many, many facets of life: nature, music, literature, etc. I find myself to be the most creative when I'm outdoors, rain or shine. As far as music goes, I draw much inspiration from Bruce Springsteen. Every one of his songs tells a story and although I'm not a musician, I would love to be able to captivate people the way he does, at a much smaller scale.
I'm grateful to have found this site, as I am hoping to once again find my voice. I look forward to posting as well as reading x
