Our Elusive Timbuktu
slithery skins in ignition
under holy Amavasya
crackle
drunken to their
alchemical cocktail
interlocked eyes
intertwined towers
growl
to jungle’s resonance
no ashen conversions
salted sweats drip inner
the iced lubricants
epitome of romance
this.
awakened equilibrium
