What I am to You
to you, I am
a cut left bleeding, where you misplaced my bandage, but remembered my scream
an open sea, where you abandoned your ship, as I was that southern wind caressing your sails
a bear left in winter, hibernating, you let me sleep, and I never saw spring
i am the love letter you waited for, opened, but forgot to read
and now it’s gone missing
