It Burned Slowly/ A Life of Last Breaths
We fell from the heavens
On the remains of life
Lost in fragments
Floating particals of ash
It covers the earth entirely
Tirelessly unrelenting
Smoke rained downward
All the eyes were put out
Our lives are emptiness
Bleak photographs
Of years we never lived
Colorless as our effection
A man stood there
In the overcast sunrise
Emotionless
Overwhelmed
I held his hat for a time
In his greiving he submitted
There shall be no forgiveness
Among these flesh-statues
Bound to this lifelessness
I soon shall surrender.
On the remains of life
Lost in fragments
Floating particals of ash
It covers the earth entirely
Tirelessly unrelenting
Smoke rained downward
All the eyes were put out
Our lives are emptiness
Bleak photographs
Of years we never lived

There shall be no forgiveness
Among these flesh-statues
Bound to this lifelessness
I soon shall surrender.
