The Psyckotik's Prayer
I know you’re there,
Watching and waiting,
I can feel your stare,
My blood is pulsating.
I know what I’ve done,
And I know that I’m wrong,
But what can I say,
The urge was too strong.
They always told me to look to you for guidance,
And I scoffed at the thought, convinced I could fight it.
Now it’s you who laughs,
Pouring salt in the wound.
The memories of my sins, come flooding like a monsoon
Put this to a halt,
This evil’s got to end,
Lord, please stop my hands before they kill again.
Watching and waiting,
I can feel your stare,
My blood is pulsating.
I know what I’ve done,
And I know that I’m wrong,
But what can I say,
The urge was too strong.
They always told me to look to you for guidance,
And I scoffed at the thought, convinced I could fight it.
Now it’s you who laughs,
Pouring salt in the wound.
The memories of my sins, come flooding like a monsoon
Put this to a halt,
This evil’s got to end,
Lord, please stop my hands before they kill again.
