Image for the poem Loving in the Spring

Loving in the Spring

Some wear a discontented, listless look
Upon their faces with snow to endure;
But winter passes and its icy hook
Will melt away to leave the spring air pure;
And ready for a new and pleasant lease
Of life, where cheerful earnestness allows
Admirers to express their need to feast
On beauty; and the pleasures they espouse;
As girls become fine women, who will bud
Away from snow, until their fresh perfume
Enriches lives and circulates the blood,
With blushes and the peak of their sweet bloom
That men enjoy and tease, as girls have fun
Loving in spring, faces covered in cum.
