brain freeze
Ice, cold wind and rain
From this shiver I can’t refrain,
Put on hats and put on gloves
Around our neck we put on scarves,
The blood hardens in our feet
And circulation in retreat,
I don’t know how can one say
That winter’s better anyway,
Their refusal to admit
That this winter has to quit,
Drives my sanity down the drain
Kills the cells around my brain.
From this shiver I can’t refrain,
Put on hats and put on gloves
Around our neck we put on scarves,
The blood hardens in our feet
And circulation in retreat,
I don’t know how can one say
That winter’s better anyway,
Their refusal to admit
That this winter has to quit,
Drives my sanity down the drain
Kills the cells around my brain.
