Yes, you're right. I use agora in the sense of bazaar, or market, where one shops, but, I hope, it also retains its meaning of the space where people meet, get their news, gossip, exchange ideas, glances, talk politics, philosophize, etc. A space that one can say today is replaced by the internet (and hence the desperation of the buyer seeker: "first offer" will do.
