An eye for an I

When you take up arms how do you fight?
Do you pick the sword with intentions to smite?
 What about a mace?
Surely that could displace.
An axe?
 One that easily hacks?
Surely one would not pick a pen, for that strikes no fear in the hearts of men. Perhaps a pen could smite, if it were used just right. A pen could too displace,
if your words were embraced.
However a pen cannot hack, unless it were the soul you wished to attack.
Maybe a pen could move a man looking to fight.
However, you would have To choose your words just right.
 Yes even a pen can contain a great might, dependent upon the words that you choose to write.
