Don't Underestimate Me

I am capable of love and compassion
Understanding one's difficulties with ease
Bringing forth my Guardian Angel
Protecting them from any dangers
Watch my wings burn, I don't care
If those I protect are safe I will thrive.
But tie me down with shackles
Bruise my soft skin with blows of hate
Cut off my wings with singing metal blades
I will show you the Demon in wait.
Know that I too can wield a blade
I too can strike a blow
I too can spew acidic words into your ears.
Never underestimate one who has Fallen
For they are the ones who shared the pain
Took the blows
Devoured the hate and arose with glory.
I may have scars but they hold the past
They burn with all the torment
However remain closed.
Push me though fair mortal
And you shall see a terrible fury
I will descend on you like crows to the carcass
Rip into you with talons of the eagles
Devour your will as the lion to the gazelle.
If you do not desire this
Then I warn you now
