we her and me

this woman i see
in the mirror looking back at me
isnt me is she

woman from a child woman again
i long to shake my hand
instead of these shakey hands

she smiles back at me but
she knows not why she smiles
a curiosity,a coy undertone
this world this room i can condone
thoughts from pen to paper
to keyboard and screen
alive the fire in her eyes

bring me to life she screams from within
this mental cage i keep her in
she cries but alas she is in servitude
to right thinking nothing outside your box
a nightingale her voice only to be heard by me
longing to come out
but alas i sheild her from life for she is me
and i am her
but the world so cold
is not ready for her song

they know not nor do they care
how she feels their pains and despair
she longs for something more and unspoken
she longs for adoration and loves poisonous kiss
upon her soft innocent lips

i am here she cries from within and i call back
you musnt look into the light
for it is too much of a lie
she and i,live together
one within one without
and as i stare into her ever so deeply
i am shattered by her
her voice like an angel but
her toungue of a serpent
upon my knees i stay
pushing her deeper into her cage
for if i were to release her
than all this upon her come the world

and their visciousness
and their judgement
i leave her her innocence and
the cold shoulder of this real world
i tell myself that my pretend is ever for me
better in the end
