Put that Paper Plate Down Before You Break It!
Somewhere
Residing in hiding, fears without speech
in the depths of heart piercing silence
there are those who dare to risk and breach
to shatter personal paper plates
conquering the fears that lie in each.
“ Don’t break that paper plate!
My heart is splintered,
weakened from a low grade of glass.
If you break my plates ----
You can kis my aaaaaaaaaaaaa
ask what you will. . .
just,
put that paper plate down before you break it!
I’m OK;
I’m calm;
I’m still. “
To dare,
To risk
Requires the responsibility to see
to know when to back off
to see when timing is everything!
To not give up in giving in;
To hope
To know when to shatter our plates
and discover
how to handle our fears within.
